The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, fiends, and dark forces expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to begin their own adventure, separate from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might seem out of place, but the developments of episode 3 show why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group understands precisely where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise started the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, striking Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and escaped to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could assist the team reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and Wicander turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This means them little choice but to head to Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight players to form the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Fans can look forward to finding out which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
